Large Scale Drone
Aerial LiDAR Surveying
LiDAR Drone Australia Has The Capability For Large Scale
LiDAR Surveying Throughout NSW and Australia Wide.
Large Scale LiDAR Surveying
LiDAR Drone Australia operates the Geosun GS-960, an extreme high-performance LiDAR scanner that delivers a highly cost-effective solution for large-scale aerial LiDAR surveys. This system is optimised for survey areas exceeding 20 square kilometres and is fully capable of efficiently completing projects over 100 square kilometres.

LiDAR Drone Australia provides comprehensive aerial LiDAR solutions for projects of any size and in any location across Australia. For our routine small to medium-scale surveys, we deploy the Geosun GS-260X drone-mounted LiDAR scanner, which delivers reliable and highly accurate results.
For large-scale or more complex projects, we utilise the GS-960 high-precision LiDAR system. Its ability to operate at significantly higher altitudes while maintaining survey-grade accuracy allows us to complete extensive survey areas far more efficiently, offering a highly cost-effective solution for large-area LiDAR mapping.

Regardless of the size, complexity, or location of your project, LiDAR Drone Australia provides a fully tailored aerial LiDAR solution to meet your specific requirements. With access to both the GS-260X and GS-960 high-performance LiDAR scanners, we carefully select the most suitable system to ensure the highest level of accuracy, efficiency, and value for your survey.
For projects requiring survey-grade deliverables, we incorporate comprehensive ground control measures to achieve exceptional accuracy and consistency across the entire site. Where ground control is not feasible or not required, we can still deliver high-quality LiDAR data with an accuracy of approximately ±100 mm @ 200m AGL and with ground control ±50 mm @ 200m AGL— offering a reliable and cost-effective alternative for a wide range of applications, also taking into account when operating at a lower AGL the accuracy increase.
With flexible technology options, proven workflows, and a strong focus on quality and professionalism, LiDAR Drone Australia offers complete end-to-end solutions designed to meet your technical needs, project objectives, and budget.
