LiDAR Drone Australia operates its own NSW registered Tinger 8x8 Amphibious All-Terrain Vehicle (AATV), purpose-built for accessing remote, rugged, and isolated regions throughout New South Wales and across Australia. This specialized amphibious vehicle enables our team to safely transport LiDAR and drone equipment to challenging environments where conventional vehicles cannot operate — including wetlands, floodplains, dense bushland, uneven or inaccessible terrain and water crossings of any depth.
By combining advanced drone technology with the mobility of the Tinger 8x8, LiDAR Drone Australia can deliver accurate aerial and ground-based survey data in even the most challenging and difficult-to-reach areas, ensuring comprehensive project coverage and operational efficiency across all terrain types.
Our fleet of high-performance drones is equipped with state-of-the-art LiDAR systems capable of penetrating vegetation canopies and capturing accurate topographic and structural data across variable surfaces. These capabilities allow us to provide precise elevation models, vegetation assessments, flood mapping, erosion studies, and terrain analysis — even in areas with extreme environmental conditions.
Supporting our aerial capability, LiDAR Drone Australia operates specialised ground-access equipment, including our fully equipped and purpose-fitted Iveco Daily Dual Cab 4x4 truck. Recognised as one of the world’s most capable 4x4 platforms, the Iveco Daily provides exceptional off-road capability through its all-wheel-drive system, centre locking transfer case, front and rear differential locks, and both front and rear electric winches. This enables our team to safely access difficult, remote, steep, muddy, or flood-affected sites while carrying personnel, drone systems, LiDAR equipment, batteries, safety gear, and field-support equipment.
In addition, we operate a Tinger 8x8 Amphibious All-Terrain Vehicle (AATV), enabling safe and efficient access to remote, waterlogged, marshland, or otherwise inaccessible areas where conventional vehicles cannot operate.
